Mere Mortals: The State of Politicians’ Mental Wellbeing and Why It Matters

Last year, the Apolitical Foundation conducted an international study on politicians’ mental well-being, using the robust Short Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale.

They shared their findings and recommendations for systemic changes in their December 2023 report "Mere Mortals". Though the study was across genders, it also shows a clear need to protect women's electeds in particular.
