Senator Natalie Murdock
Natalie represents District 20 in the North Carolina
State Senate, is the first Black woman and woman of
color under 40 to be elected to the state’s General
Assembly, and earned over 100,000 votes when first
elected in 2020. She has filed over 100 bills that
support Black maternal health, healthcare access for
all, and greater access to the ballot. She is a native
North Carolinian and a UNC alum.
